HOW TO CHANGE A ZIP SLIDER
One of the most common repair questions we get is: how do I change a broken or malfunctioning zip slider myself? It’s not that difficult actually! You just need a set of pliers and your new zip slider and stopper, that you can order from us below.
Let's get to work!
1. Unzip the garment and lay it on a flat surface.
2. Use the pliers to remove the stopper at the top of the zipper, and then remove the zip slider.
3. Replace the zip slider making sure the narrow end points downwards
4. Zip up the zip slider to confirm it is working.
5. Replace the stopper with the new one, fastening it with the pliers.
